Basically we are on EV 10.0.4 and were required to install MacAfee 8.8 Patch 4.
We are aware of the technote below and know that version of MacAfee is not yet certified as compatible. We get the error as described in the Technote. Mainly, "Invalid access to memory location. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x800703E6)”

We have added all the noted exclusions and have all the other exclusions Symantec suggest.
We have been working with Symantec support for a month and their only resolution was to uninstall MacAfee.
They said they have had a few cases of this. So I wondered if anybody in the community has a resolution that would allow us to stay on version 8.8 Patch 4.
Maybe there is a process or files we are not excluding. Maybe they are just incompatible at this time.
